Aims of the declaration:
1. Protection of habitats of rare and endangered plant and animal species

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited to lumber, trim, damage or uproot any sort of plants.
2. It is prohibited to chase wild animals, reptiles and birds, their young or to destroy their nests or dens.
3. It is prohibited to graze livestock at any time, with the exception of sheep in the fall and winter season (October 1 until March 31) in accordance with the designated in the decree of the Council of Ministers dated December 30 1954 norms for the accepted number of livestock.
4. It is prohibited to build quarries for rocks, sand, earth or other inter materials, as well as the damage or alteration of the natural patterns of the area.
5. It is prohibited to break, scribble on or damage in any way the caves, the stone and earth formations in it.
6. It is prohibited to plant tree species foreign to the region.
7. It is allowed to collect plant and animal species in limited quantities for scientific purposes, after receiving the corresponding permit from the Ministry of Forests and Environmental Protection.
8. As an exception for the current prohibitions and regimes in section 1, 4 and 5 it is allowed to conduct archeological research, conservation, restoration and exposition in a part of property with number 49312.17.27, allowed with ordinance No.18-554, from 24.10.2017, with area 27,7 ha, part of ancient greek polis Heraclea Sintica.
