Aims of the declaration:
1. PROTECTION OF NATURAL HABITAT OF RARE AND ENDANGERED BIRDS AND PEAT FIELDS
Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited construction and any other activity that injure the natural appearance of the site or modify adversely its water regime, prohibited drawing of groundwater;
2. It is prohibited making fire and arson the the cane and the other vegetation;
3. It is prohibited importation and raising of different animal and plant species without co-ordination with MOEW and BAC
4. It is prohibited hunting and fishing;
5. It is prohibited to kill, catch or disturb the birds, to damage their nests and to collect their eggs.
6. It is prohibited pollution of the water
7. It is prohibited grazind of domestic animals on the marshy grounds alongshore from 1 March to 30 July
8. It is prohibited bathing and use of vessels in the lake
9. It is permitted the use of peat for medicinal purposes
10. It is permitted construction related only with peatextraction by previously drawn up project
11. It is permitted maintenance of watershed installations
12. It is allowed the use of waters after the overflow of Choklyovo blato for the needs of local people after compliance with all requirements laid down/ensuing by laws.
