Aims of the declaration:
1. Conservation of natural habitat of protected and rare bird species, included in Bulgaria's Red Book and in the list of endangered species in Europe;

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited killing, capturing, ringing and harassment of nesting birds, spoiling of the wells, collecting of the eggs or their young;
2. It is prohibited construction, disclosure of quarries and other activities that modify the natural appearance of the site or its water regime
3. It is prohibited felling, except cultivating and sanitary
4. It isrohibited any forest activities during the bird breeding period from 1 March to 31 July;
5. It is prohibited afforestation with nonresidential for the district species
6. It is prohibited grazing of goats and swines
