Aims of the declaration:
1. Conservation of natural habitat of rare and threatened with extinction species of fish and water birds, some of which are endangered on a European or world scale, as well as in the entire natural resort.

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited any construction, disclosure of quarries and other activities that modify the natural appearance or the water regime of the site
2. It is prohibited huntin except for regulation of number of predators (foxes, raccoon dogs, wild pigs) in the period September 1 to January 31 when prooved necessity and in agreement with the Ministry of Environment;
3. It is rohibited water and land pollution with hazardous substances and waste, as well as direct pumping of water from the lake for irrigation;
4. It is prohibited fertilization with fertilizers and treatment with chemicals in the areas of international importance;
5. It is prohibited use of the lake for rowing, sailing and water-motor sport
6. It is prohibited industrial and underwater fishing;
7. It is prohibited burning down the stubbles;
8. It is prohibited burning down the cane unless with prooved necessity and in agreement with the Ministry of Environment;
9. Prohibited the creation of cultures of aylant, oleaster, locust tree, and other unusual trees in the region;
10. Permitted traditional use of agricultural land fund, subject to the prohibitions of section 1, 3, 4 and 7;
11. I is permitted grazing sheep and cows in the farm lands with cadastral number 29, 30 and 150 of the territory of Shabla and cadastral numbers 31 and 33 from Ezerets village;
12. It is permitted The use of groundwater for irrigation and drinking water supply at a fixed regime, consistent with the Ministry of Environment and State Administration of Shabla;
13. It is permitted the use of forests in accordance with the Regulations for managing of the forests for special purposes;
14. It is permitted sport fishing on the shore of the lake in the site "Ezeretsko vetrilo"
15. It is permitted to carry out scientific observations coordinated with the Ministry of Environment programs;
16. It is permitted separation of ecological hospital
17. It is permitted visits with infomative purposes on fixed schedule and routes coordinated with the Ministry of Environment and the head of the site Shabla;
18. It is permitted implementation of projects related to the conservation, restoration or maintenance of the facility, after consultation with the Ministry of Environment and land owners;
