Aims of the declaration:
1. Conservation of natural habitat of protected and rare bird species, included in Bulgaria's Red Book and in the list of endangered species in Europe;

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited construction and any other activities that injure the natural appearance or the water regime of the site
2. It is prohibited to carry out agricultural activities during the period 1 January- 30 August
3. It is prohibited afforestation with nonresidential for the sites species
4. It is prohibited grazing of goats and swines
5. It is prohibited harassing, capturing and ringing of the nesting birds and collecting of the eggs and their young
6. It is permitted to carry out forest managing activities for maintenance of the tree vegetation for up to ensure biological requirements of species in a special development project coordinated by RIEW - Burgas
7. It is permited hunting of cattle, as well as regulating the number of the predators, during the period 1 September-30 December
