Aims of the declaration:
1. Protection of pond ecosystem;

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited to build quarries, carry out mining, geological, and other activities, which damage or alter the landscape.
2. Construction of any type is prohibited unless it is described in the management plan of the protected territory.
3. It is prohibited to contaminate the waters with noxious substances.
4. It is prohibited to start fires and to set fire to the reeds and any other vegetation.
5. It is prohibited to import and breed new species of animals and birds without coordinating it with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
6. It is prohibited to damage or destroy by any means and in any way the official signs designating the boundaries of the protected territory.
7. It is allowed to mow the reeds and bulrush from the services combine "Kiril Pushkarov" - city of Svishtov, which happens from October 15 of the current year until February 15 of the following one.
8. It is allowed to use land for agricultural purposes around 20 acres in the draining canals area, without bringing in mineral fertilizer, herbicides, and other chemical substances.
9. It is allowed to inspect and when needed to help the refreshing of the waters of the Danube river.
10. It is allowed to bring in hydrophilic wood vegetation with the purpose of improving the birds' nesting conditions.
11. It is allowed to breed certain species of fish artificially.
12. It is allowed to fish in the period February 15 until September 15 only in the open water areas, while during the rest of the year fishing is unlimited.
13. It is allowed to hunt in the period October 1 of the current year until January 31 of the following year.
