Aims of the declaration:
1. Protection and maintenance of the types of habitats under item 1, habitats of the species under item 2, their populations and distribution within the area to achieve and maintain their favorable conservation status in The Continental Biogeographic Region;
2. Improvement of the state of the habitat 91М0 and its functions;
3. Improvement of the habitats of the species: Greater mouse-eared bat (Myotis myotis), Lesser mouse-eared bat (Myotis blythii), Long-fingered bat (Myotis capaccinii), Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni), Greek tortoise(Testudo graeca) and European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis);
4. Restoration of the types of habitats under item 1 and the habitats of the species under item 2 if needed.

Objects of protection (species or habitats):
1. Article 6, paragraph 1, section 1 from Biological Diversity Act: 3260 Water courses of plain to montane levels with the Ranunculion fluitantis and Callitricho-Batrachion vegetation; 6240* Sub-Pannonic steppic grasslands; 6430 Hydrophilous tall herb fringe communities of plains and of the montane to alpine levels; 8210 Calcareous rocky slopes with chasmophytic vegetation; 8310 Caves not open to the public; 91М0 Pannonian-Balkanic turkey oak-sessile oak forests;
2. Article 6, paragraph 1, section 2 from Biological Diversity Act: 2.2.1. Mammals – Rhinolophus hipposideros, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, Rhinolophus euryale, Myotis blythii, Miniopterus schreibersii, Myotis capaccinii, Myotis emarginatus, Myotis myotis, Lutra lutra; 2.2.2. Amphibians and Reptiles – Bombina variegata, Testudo hermanni, Testudo graeca, Emys orbicularis; 2.2.3. Fish – Barbus meridionalis, Sabanejewia aurata; 2.2.4. Invertebrates – Unio crassus.

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. Fire, town-development, electrification, performing of economic and sporting activities in the undeveloped caves and their entrances is prohibited. It is also prohibited to break, to damage, to collect or to move rock and cave formations, barriers at the entrances or in their separate galleries in a manner that prevents the passing of the species of bats, subject of conservation under item 2.2.1;
2. It is prohibited to perform speleological studies during the bats breeding season - 1 March - 31 July;
3. It is prohibited tо prospect for minerals (construction and stone materials), to create new and to expand concession areas for extraction of minerals (construction and stone materials); prohibition does not apply in cases where the date of publication of the order in the "Official Gazette" has started a procedure for granting permits for prospecting and / or exploration and / or the concession for extraction under Subsurface Resources Act (SRA) and Concessions Act, or a procedure for their coordination under Chapter Six of the Law on environmental protection and / or art. 31 of the Biological Diversity Act or an application for registration of a commercial discovery;
4. It is prohibited to build new Hydroelectric power stations and to change the hydromorphological regime by draining, taking away deposit sediment, correcting and partition with dykes of the waterbodies in the protected zone, with the exception when there is natural disaster, accidents and activities improving the state of conservation of the habitats of the species under item 2.2.3 and 2.2.4;
5. It is prohibited to permanently store and deposit waste matter;
6. It is prohibited to conduct auto racing outside the existing roads;
7. The movement of motorcycles, ATV, UTV and buggies is prohibited outside of the existing roads in non-urban areas except when there is a natural disaster, for emergency, for conducting fire control, accidents and rescue operations;
8. It is prohibited to alter the way of sustainable use, to plow, to plant and to turn in permanent crops of pastures, grasslands, wetlands and plowing, and other grasslands in the use of the agricultural lands as such;
9. It it prohibited to introduce and to deliberately distribute non-native species into the meadows, pastures, waterbodies and forrest territories;
10. It is prohibited the use of pesticides, mineral, foliar and micro fertilizers as well as biologicaly active substances, which did not received biological and toxicological registration from the commissions and councils led by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Environment and Water;
11. The use of mineral fertilizers in the pastures, meadows, abandoned ploughlands and forests is prohibited. Also it is prohibited to use professional category products for plant protection, except for calamities and epiphytotics;
12. It is prohibited to remove landscape features (hedges, single trees and groups, traditional strips of shrub and tree vegetation inside of agricultural land, shelterbelt, rock fences and hedges) in the use of agricultural land;
13. It is prohibited to use organic sediments from industrial and other waters and domestic waste for introduction into the agricultural land without the permission of specialized agencies of Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and when the concentration of heavy metals, metalloids and stable organic pollutants in the sediments exceeds the background concentration according to appendix 1, Decree-Law No. 3/2008, for the norms of admissible concentrations of harmful substances in the soil. (State Gazette 71/2008);
14. It is prohibited to use waters, which have harmful substances and waste above the admissible norms, for irrigation;
15. It is prohibited to burn stubbles, boundary and road strips and areas with dry and humid vegetation.
