Aims of the declaration:
1. Protection restoration and maintenance of oak ecosystems and landscapes in Tryavna, Gabrovo and the share of Central Stara Planina.
Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited to clear felling in high forest, except poplar and in coppice forests - an area larger than three hectares;
2. It is prohibited to import plant and animal species uncharacteristic of the region;
3. It is prohibited to graze goats except in designated places;
4. It is prohibited to collect fossils and minerals, to damage the rock formations;
5. It is prohibited to pollute the waters and terrains with domestic, industrial, and other waste;
6. It is prohibited to camp and start fires outside the designated areas;
7. It is prohibited to extract minerals using the open method;
8. It is prohibited to extract and to pretreat metal minerals by applying the chemical and chemical-bacteriological methods and cyanids;
9. It is prohibited to carry out all activities and construction, which are not allowed by the park orders and regultaions, the park management plan, and the management and technical plans and projects;
10. It is prohibited to collect rare, endemic, relict, and protected species, except for scientific purposes;
