Aims of the declaration:
1. Venerable mixed forest of spruce, beech and fir, typical for this part of the Rhodopes.

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. Until a plan for the management of the natural reserve has been created, the following activities are allowed: 1. Sanitary lumbering when more than 5% of the trees are drying out; 2. Removing the masses which have fallen as a result of natural disasters; 3. Using biological mediums for protecting the vegetation.
