Aims of the declaration:
1. Preservation of the "Komatinitsa" rock ridge in the land of the village of Brestovo, Simitli municipality, Blagoevgrad district, representing a geological phenomenon - part of the remarkable geodiversity of Bulgaria due to its inherent representativeness and aesthetics.

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited violation of the integrity of the rock massif and other activities that may disturb the natural state or reduce the aesthetic value of the rock crown (cutting, breaking, making and expanding openings, etc.);
2. It is prohibited prospecting, exploration and extraction of underground resources;
3. It is prohibited introduction of plant and animal species not native to the area.
