Aims of the declaration:
1. Protection of riparian forest and characteristic flora and fauna.

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited to disturb, chase, kill and hunt the animals.
2. It is prohibited to collect and destroy the eggs of the birds and to damage their nests.
3. It is prohibited to use pesticides.
4. Construction of any type is prohibited, as well as expanding the existing building, geological and other research or activities, which destroy the natural landscape of the region.
5. It is prohibited to hunt and shoot within 200 meters of the boundaries of the protected territories.
6. It is prohibited for people and domestic animals to enter and trespass.
7. It is allowed that the protected territory serve the needs of the Ornithology station, part of the Zoology Institute under The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for researching bird migration.
