Aims of the declaration:
1. Conservation Buinovska River Gorge. Conservation of protected plant and animal species from which the Balkan corn-thistle (Doronicum austriacum Jack), greencoloured foxglove (Digitalis viridiflora Lind), Rhodope toothwort (Lathrea rhodopea Dingler), planning

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited to carry out all activities which damage their natural state and appearance.
2. It is prohibited to build quarries, break, dig up or scribble on the rocks.
3. It is prohibited to alter the water flows.
4. It is prohibited to lumber or break the trees and the bushes, uproot or pick flowers, etc.
5. It is prohibited to carry out goli sechi, as well as to fell separate old and hollow trees.
6. It is prohibited to plant species which are not characteristic of the region.
7. It is prohibited to plant species which are not characteristic of the region.
8. It is prohibited to alter the river basin as well as any activities, which could lead to changes in the hydrological regime of the Buinovska river, except in cases of emergency and with the aim of protecting and restoring the habitat of the species.
9. It is prohibited to build new roads with a permanent pavement; buildings and equipment, with the exception of visitor and information centers, ecopaths, and their accompanying infrastructure, as well as any equipment necessary for mainaining the existing network of roads.
10. It is prohibited to search for, research, and extract underground natural resources.
11. It is prohibited to start fires except in the designated areas.
