Aims of the declaration:
1. Samples of the insular nature of the Lower Danube, Conserving habitats and populations of rare and endangered water animals and plants.
Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohinited stocking of the "Pischenskoto" and "Dead Swamp" to be carried out from the bridge of the canal connecting the two swamps;
2. It is prohibited fishing and mowing in two swamps after 1 August each year;
3. Until a plan for the management of the natural reserve has been created, the following activities are allowed:
1. Restoring the water regime;
2. Restoring and maintaining the habitat - damp areas.
4. All activities are prohibited in the forest reserve except: 1. its conservancy; 2. visits with a scientific purpose; 3. people walking on the designated paths, including when it's with an educational purpose; 4. collection of seeds, wild plants, and animals with a scientific purpose; 5 carrying out supportive, guiding, regulating or restorative measures.
