Aims of the declaration:
1. Conservation of natural habitat of endangered and rare species of birs and plants, included in Bulgaria's Red Book.
2. For the complex protection of the biotope with great importance for the restoration cleanliness of lake waters and the biological diversity of spineless fauna.
Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited any construction, disclosure of quarries, plowing the land and change the natural appearance of the area
2. It is prohibited hollowing and filling up the aquatic environment of the protected site and pollution of the water in any way
3. It is prohibited any hunting
4. It is prohibited capturing and ringing of the nesting or migrating birds
5. It is prohibited any fishing except the sport one
6. It is prohibited grazing of swines
7. Pit is prohibited burning and harvesting of the cane, except with prooved necessity and co-ordinated with the Ministry of Environmental
8. It is prohibited lumber
9. It is prohibited to damage and to destroy the benthos in any way
10. It is permitted sport fishing
11. It is permitted grazing of domestic animals(sheeps and cows) with herd in swampy meadows and the coastal areas
