Aims of the declaration:
1. Protection of: thermophilic and sub-mediterranean oak forests, riparian formations of willows (Salix spp.), mixed with ash-alder groups along rivers (Fraxinus excelsior - Alnus glutinosa);
2. Conservation of protected species, such as: tree frog (Hyla arborea), Balkan Spadefoot (Pelobates syriacus balcanicus), zhaltokoremnik (Pseudopus apodus), worm snake (Typhlops vermicularis), snake snake (Zamenis longissimus), Spotted snake (

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. Construction of any type is prohibited, with the exception of renovation of the existing buildings and equipment.
2. It is prohibited to alter the river basin, to change the hydrological regime and to build hydroenergy systems.
3. It is prohibited to afforest the meadows.
4. It is prohibited to afforest with non-local species and origins.
5. It is prohibited to carry out clear felling and reconstruction.
6. It is prohibited to look for and reserch the underground natural resources and to extract inert materials.
