Aims of the declaration:
1. Conservation of the natural habitat of rare water birds and plant species.
Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited to carry out activities which modify the natural appearance of the site;
2. It is prohibited picking or uprooting of plants
3. It is prohibited making fire and arson the the cane and the other vegetation;
4. It is prohibited importation and raising of different animal and plant species without co-ordination with MOEW and BAC
5. It is prohibited to kill, catch or disturb the birds, to damage their nests and to collect their eggs.
6. It is prohibited hunting;
7. It is prohibited pollution of the water
8. It is prohibited any type of construction;
9. It is permitted to mow the cane and water cane from ДИП Камъшит - Silistra town, during the period 1 october - 15 february;
10. It is permitted afforestation with hydrofoil vegetation with the purpose to improve the conditions of bird nesting;
11. It is permitted to regulate the number of wild swine and predators from 1 october to 31 january;
12. It is permitted sport fishing from August 1 to 15 february;
13. It is permitted activities aimed to maintenance the necessary water level of the marsh complex, coordinated with Committee at Council of Ministry and BAC
