Aims of the declaration:
1. Maintaining the area with characteristic landscapes, including the remarkable rock formations - the habitats of protected and priority conservation species ( Aquila chrysaetos, owl, Buteo rufinus, etc.).
2. Retention of protected fauna (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, Nyctalus noctula) and plant species (Serratula bulgarica, Bulgarian pear, Alyssum borzaeanum, Dianthus nardiformis., Artemisia chamaemelifolia etc..)
3. Providing opportunities for educational activities and sustainable tourism development;

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited any type of construction;
2. It is prohibited hunting from 1 february to 15 august;
3. It is prohibited to injure the rock formations, to open quarries, carry out mining and geological activities;
4. It is prohibited pollution with waste;
5. It is prohibited to carry out felling, except cultivating and sanitary;
6. It is prohibited to afforest with species uncharacteristic of the region.
7. It is prohibited changes in the way of sustainable use of the land;
8. It is prohibited rock climbing, alpinism, gliding;
