Aims of the declaration:
1. Conservation of typical landscape - limestone rocks and remnants of ancient rock monastery;
2. Conservation of endangered and rare plant and animal species, including the Egyptian vulture, Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos), owl, Long-legged Buzzard (Buteo rufinus), Short-toed Eagle (Circaetus gallicus), nightjars (Caprimulgus), Alyssum borzaeanum, Serratula bulgarica, Dianthus nardiformis, Artemisia lerchiana, and their habitats.
Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited construction;
2. It is prohibited hunting;
3. It is prohibited to chase wild animals and to take their young or eggs, as well as to destroy their nests or dens.
4. It Is prohibited to damage or confiscate rock formations, to open quarries, to carry out mining and geological and other activities, which lead to modify the rock formations and the natural landscape;
5. It is prohibited pollution with wastes;
6. It is prohibited felling except cultivating and sanitary;
7. It is prohibited afforestation with nonresidential species;
8. It is prohibited changes in the way of sustainable use of the land;
9. It is prohibited fire making outside the determined from RIEW - Varna places;
10. It is prohibited climbing, mountaineering, paragliding, hang-gliding and other activities, which disturb the nesting birds, during the period 1 march-31 august;
