Aims of the declaration:
1. Protect habitats of endangered and rare plant species, such as: Alyssum borzaeanum, Serratula bulgarica, Dianthus nardiformis, Artemisia lerchiana, Verbascum purpureum
2. Protect habitats of endangered and rare species, such as: wolf (Canis lupus), Wildcat (Felis silvestris), Forest dormouse (Dryomys nitedula), Big Bat (Myotis myotis), Rusty Bat (Nyctalus noctua).
3. Maintaining the distinctive landscape, including unique rock formations.

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited construction;
2. It is prohibited hunting from 31 march to 15 august;
3. It is prohibited to injure the rock formations;
4. It is prohibited to open quarries and mining and geological activities;
5. It is prohibited pollution with waste;
6. It is prohibited to carry out felling, except sanitary and cultivating;
7. It is prohibited to afforest with tree species uncharacteristic of the region.
8. It is prohibited changes in the way of sustainable use of the land;
9. It is prohibited to make fire;
10. It is prohibited rock climbing, alpinism and other extreme sports from 1 march to 31 august.
