Aims of the declaration:
1. Preservation of a characteristic karst landscape with rock slopes with chasmophytic vegetation, caves, Quercus pubescens and Corylus colurna;
2. Habitat protection of threatened, vulnerable and protected species such as: birdsCiconia nigra, Neophron percnopterus, Accipiter gentilis, Accipiter nisus), Buteo rufinus, Buteo buteo, Falco peregrinus, Falco tinnunculus, Corvus corax, Apus melba, Apus apusPtyonoprogne rupestris, Hirundo daurica; bats: Miniopterus schreibersii, Myotis blythii, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, etc.; plants: Celtis glabrata etc.:
3. Preservation of the Prashnata peshtera cave - without surface area, with coordinates in the WGS84 coordinate system of the cave entrance: N 43.12422222; E 25.62205556 and length 151 meters - included in the cave register of the Bulgarian Speleology Federation with number: 2844; 213040.

Current prohibitions and regimes:
1. It is prohibited construction, excluding repair and reconstruction of existing infrastructure.
2. It is prohibited search, exploration and mining of underground resources (minerals).
3. It is prohibited removal of bare and short-term-gradual renewal fellings, with the exception of fellings related to the removal of non-native and alien species to maintain and restore habitats. When felling, old trees and trees with hollows and nests are not marked for felling.
4. It is prohibited any forestry activities during the breeding season of birds from March 1 to August 15.
5. It is prohibited importation, including afforestation, of non-native and alien plant and animal species.
6. It is prohibited disturbing, chasing, catching birds, collecting eggs and destroying active and inactive nests and nest niches.
7. It is prohibited plowing, afforestation and conversion of agricultural grasslands, meadows and other natural open spaces in the forest territories into permanent plantations.
8. It is prohibited camping, bivouacing, camping and lighting fires outside designated areas.
9. It is prohibited entering the caves except for exploratory activities; breaking, chipping and damaging cave and rock formations.
10. It is prohibited rock climbing, descent, equipment and re-equipment of climbing routes, with the exception of the "G sport" climbing sector (including 5 climbing routes), with coordinates in the WGS84 coordinate system of its end points: No. 43.119; E 25.62563889 and No. 43.11891667; E 25.62586111.
11. It is prohibited rock climbing, descent, equipment and re-equipment of climbing routes in the "G sports" climbing sector during the breeding period of the birds - from March 1 to August 15.
12. It is prohibited passage of motor vehicles except for forestry, emergency and control activities.
13. It is prohibited management and photography with flying devices (drones, etc.) except for conducting research and control activities.
